The best way to protect your phone from electromagnetic interference is to wear a battery-powered shield.
That’s because this type of interference doesn’t cause damage to your device, but instead, can damage the delicate circuitry that powers it.
Thankfully, this type is fairly easy to install, and we’ll walk you through how to make it happen.
Before we get into the steps, you need to make sure your phone is equipped with a battery, and if you’re not, it may be a good idea to replace it with one.
If your phone isn’t a smartphone, you’ll need to buy one to replace the battery.
For the purposes of this article, we’re going to assume you have an iPhone 4 or newer.
If you’re using an older device, we’d recommend you buy one.

The iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S are the most widely used models of iPhone, and while there are a few variations, they all have the same battery.1.
Find your iPhone’s firmware2.
Find the firmware on your phone3.
Select “About this Device” from the Apple menu, which will open up the Settings app4.
Scroll down to “System Updates”5.
Scroll to “Device Updates”6.
Select the firmware that’s currently installed in your device7.
Now that your device has a firmware update, you’re ready to start installing the firmware.1- Install the iOS 6.1 updateNow this step is a bit different from the previous step, but it’s still the easiest way to go about it.
In order to do this, you will need to download the iOS6.1 firmware update from Apple, which is a separate download.
This is how it works:1.
Go to Settings > Update & Security2.
Select iOS6 from the list of available updates3.
Scroll through the list, then click “Update & Security”4.
Once you’re done, select the update you downloaded earlier from your iPhone and click “Continue.”5.
Once the update is downloaded and installed, go to Settings & Security > About this Device.6.
You’ll see a notification that says “Your device has been updated to iOS6.”
Now that you’re in this screen, select “Continue to continue.”7.
After a few moments, you should see the iOS7 update appear on your iPhone.
If it doesn’t, check the update status and it should show up.
If the update does not show up, try downloading the iOS9 update, and then follow the on-screen instructions to download that update.
Now that you’ve installed the iOS8 firmware update for your iPhone, you’ve now got two options:1- Remove the battery and install the iOS 8.0 updateNow you can’t just simply remove the battery, so it’s important that you make sure you don’t do this.
We don’t recommend it unless you’re certain that your iPhone has a battery protector on it.
To do this you need two things:1) You need to remove the batteries and the battery pack from your device2) Remove the iPhone from the device and place it in the trash can.1) Remove battery and remove the power packFrom here, simply follow the instructions and follow the directions on the iPhone battery and power pack.2) Check the update information on your deviceNow, you can now remove the iPhone completely and place your phone in the Trash Can.
You might be tempted to do that at first, but there are three important things you need.1.)
Make sure your iPhone is on its chargeNow, this is important because if you don.t, your iPhone will not work.
This means that when you put it into the Trash can, it will stop working, and it will cause your phone to go into standby mode.2.)
Remove the Power Pads and the BatteryPadsIf you’re having issues with your iPhone powering up, you may need to perform these three steps.1).
Remove the power pads2).
Remove and place the battery pads3).
Check the updates status4).
Remove your iPhoneFrom here you can either:1.)
Remove all the batteries in the phone and put it in a trash can2) Put all the power pads in the device3) Put the battery in the freezer for about 10 minutes.
Once done, put it back in the iPhone and wait for the update to arrive.
If all of the above is not successful, then it’s time to contact AppleCare to get it fixed.1.- Remove battery, battery pack, and powerpads2.- Remove iPhone, remove battery, powerpats, and battery from iPhone3.- Remove BatteryPAD from iPhone4.- Remove Power Pad from iPhone5.- Remove powerpad from iPhoneWhen you receive the iOS 9.0 firmware update notification, follow the steps listed above and then select “Install
